To celebrate 101 years of Triumphant motoring, the Pre-1940 Triumph Motor Club again chose their annual rally and AGM to enable the organization of both the club’s annual rally and sharing the weekend of 22nd and 23rd of June with the owners and families of the classic Triumph marques, for what has become an annual gathering of these pre and post war cars.
It was another huge success; with approaching 300 cars attending over both days, and the weather gods again blessed us with some very fine weather. Owners, families and friends wandered around the grounds of Woodland Grange at Leamington Spa, admiring the sight, sounds and smells of the diversity of cars from early 1920’s Triumph and Standard cars, through those produced in the 1950’s, and 1960’s, to the last models produced bearing the Triumph brand name.
All attending were invited to complete a voting slip for our Concours Competition and this year the Founders Plate was awarded to proud owner Colin Bullock for his 1934 Triumph Dolomite 8C. One of the only two known to exist and unanimously voted as best of show.
