1935 TRIUMPH GLORIA 2-LITRE VITESSE TOURER
Built in 1935 when Donald Healey was Technical Director at Triumph this 2-litre 6 cylinder tuned Vitesse model was originally registered by The Triumph Motor Company Ltd and was run in it’s early life by the company’s accountant, a Mr Howe-Graham.

In 1990 the car was discovered in Nottingham and purchased by the late Ian Harper who undertook the restoration together with the Gloria Coachworks.

The engine is 15.72 h.p 6 cylinder of 1991cc having overhead inlet and side exhaust valves; twin S.U. carburettors. the gearbox has 4 speeds and reverse with free-wheel pre-selection.

Of the three recorded this is the sole Vitesse survivor.
